BRUCE A. GOODMAN, P.A. is a law firm located in Coral Springs, Broward County, Florida, dedicated to providing quality legal services to businesses and individuals involved in civil disputes, lawsuits and litigation in South Florida, including Fort Lauderdale, Miami and West Palm Beach.

Bruce A. Goodman, Esq. has more than 30 years of experience handling cases in the State and Federal Courts in Broward County, Miami-Dade County, Palm Beach County, and all of Florida.  Each case is unique and important to us, and we devote our personal attention and experience to strive to meet our clients’ legal needs and goals.

We represent individuals, corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships involved in business disputes of all kinds. We also represent banks, factoring companies, vendors and other creditors in pursuit of recovering business debt.  We are experienced in pre-judgment and post-judgment collections and remedies such as execution, fraudulent transfers, replevin (judicial repossession of property), garnishment and attachment.  We represent individuals and businesses involved in corporate, shareholder and partnership disputes, including in lawsuits involving shareholder and ownership disputes, business dissolution, partner and shareholder termination, accounting, and "business divorces."  We also represent individuals and entities engaged in litigation in the probate courts, involving disputes related to wills, trusts, and estates, including will contests.  We also handle personal injury cases on behalf of plaintiffs, including wrongful death.  We also engage in aviation litigation and have repossessed aircraft through replevin.

ATTORNEY BRUCE A. GOODMAN ESQ. attended The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a major in accounting in 1983.  He passed the Certified Public Accounting Examination in 1983. Thereafter, he attended the School of Law of the University of Miami where he graduated cum laude in 1986.  Mr. Goodman was born in New York in 1961 and has been a resident of South Florida since 1977.

Mr. Goodman was admitted to The Florida Bar in October 1986. During 1986 through 1999, he was with the law firm of Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russell, P.A. in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, concentrating in the fields of commercial and civil litigation.  Mr. Goodman was a partner at Ruden McClosky from 1994 through 1999.  After leaving the big firm in 1999, he practiced law as a partner in Moore & Goodman, P.A. until 2013, when he launched Bruce A. Goodman, P.A.

Throughout his career, Mr. Goodman has represented businesses and individuals in commercial litigation, as well as real estate, probate, and partnership litigation and disputes. He has effectively represented clients in litigation cases involving many different types of claims including breach of contract, fraud, negligence, tortious interference and breach of fiduciary duty. He has also effectively handled litigation cases involving shareholder and partnership disputes and dissolutions, complex accounting issues, and probate matters. Mr. Goodman also has experience representing creditors in collection matters, and has handled a number of cases involving extraordinary remedies including replevin, garnishment, and fraudulent transfers.

Additionally, Mr. Goodman also represents persons injured in automobile and boating accidents. Our personal injury cases, and many of our post-judgment collection cases, are handled on a contingency fee basis, which means our fees are paid on a percentage of the recovery, if any.  Most other cases are handled on a reasonable hourly fee basis. 

Mr. Goodman is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts as well as the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Mr. Goodman received the highest AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell  (indicating a “very high to pre-eminent legal ability and very high ethical standards as established by confidential opinions from members of the Bar”).

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Goodman is an Active Member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Coral Springs-Parkland. Mr. Goodman is married and has two adult children.
